Jon BOOOOONES Jones

It’s almost impossible to talk about Jon Jones without getting swept up in the hurricane of hype that has been created for the 6’4 new yorker after his steam rolling success to the top.

Now training with the who’s who of martial arts including more recently the infinetly knowledgable Greg Jackson it seems that anything is within bones grasp and with a reach of 84
inches (a record reach in the ufc) the sky seems to be the limit.

with his only loss resulting from a dq due to the use of the forbidden 12 to 6 o’clock elbow strikes it’s pretty pausible to say that Jon Bones Jones is a man of confidence within the octogon and Dana White has taken notice , obviously seeing the box office potentional of having a 205lb version Anderson Silva who is about as hungry as they come right now for a title shot Dana has replaced the now Injured Rashad Evans with Jones for the opporuntity to become lhw champion on the 19th of march against the fearsom brazzilian shogun rua.

Now on paper they both have magnificent creditionals with shogun coming off with alot more experience and having dealt with elusive strikers before such as Lyoto Machida and dispatching off them with aggressive ease I feel slightly worried that Dana White may of thrown Jones in with the sharks far too early, a young man of 23 years old Jon Jones is now at the stage of his career where he will either peak or plummet back down to the lower regulations of the ufc light heavy weight devision.
